Prison tour starts at A majestic entrance, but no welcome sign. The main entry area where doors and gates are controlled. Creative inmates find ways to make killer weapons. Razor-sharp barbed wire reminds one this is a prison.
Main cell block held some of the nation's baddest criminals. Even empty, the scene is chilling. Yes, there is even a dungeon. You don't want to end up here. This is cell #33 where Sonny Liston spent some time. He is said to have learned how to box while in prison here. Linda Nichols finds the old prison one big photo op. This is where the 1954 riots began. The old prison is no longer kept up, but in its day, it was said to have been kept in pristine order.
